Walston's last note
The production of PARADISE
was closing down for the Christmas holiday on December 21,
2000. During this interruption, "Simon"-character
Ray Walston was longing to come back to work on the set of
PARADISE scheduled on January
8, 2001. With a handwritten note, he expressed his feelings
to his "favorite director", as he used to call Roger
Steinmann. Sadly and a shock for everybody, only a few days
later, on January 1, 2001, he died. Therefore, this note remains
the last one to any movie director by the legendary veteran
actor, who's five-decade career ended with the unfinished
part of Simon, to be viewed at the trailer on this site.
